Catherine Elliott

Catherine graduated from law school with honors in 2006. She spent the first 15 years of her career in public defense. As a criminal attorney, she is qualified to try cases at all levels and has handled multiple murder cases. She finished her career supervising other attorneys, managing up to a thousand cases at any given time.

Catherine is excited about the transition to family law. Her exceptional litigation skills and trial experience are unmatched in the family law arena and will be an asset to any case. She also brings investigative skills from her time working for New York City, investigating allegations of police misconduct. In addition to a case load, she worked on a special investigations team which handled high profile cases.

Ms. Elliott was an editor and board member for the Seattle Journal for Social Justice. She also clerked in Federal court for Judge Robart as an extern during law school. Ms. Elliott has recently sat on the QLAW board. She was involved in QLAW leadership for five years and filled roles such as vice president and chair to the judicial evaluation committee, which provides ratings for judicial candidates in all races in Washington State.
